I have received several pirates from Russia, mainly between 1610 - 1690 kHz. It is also possible that these stations are from
 Ukraina, I can not be sure.However, I think these are quite far from Russia!
 I can hear these stations in Paimio-location in our DX-camp,  with our very long wires. These stations are audible almost ONLY
 in the late afternoons, between 14.00 - 18.00 utc!!!  I think it is the sun-set-effect which brings these station up for a few hours
 daily. If so, it is obvious that these are quite far away from Russia!!!
 Usually there are several stations audible at the same time during these hours. Unfortunately the do not talk so much and I do
 not have any possible station identifications on tape.I hope to have later IDs, and hopefully mentioning their locations.

On this same evening, 4.12 2006 I heard Russians playing music on 1640,1656, 1661and 1682 kHz!
The only information of Russian pirates are coming from Sankt Petersburg. There are dozens of FM-pirates on  the air. They have web-pages alive, so, I think some of them must be 24h. Later some listings from summer  2006.
